Participating in arts and culture benefits other activities that enrich community health and vitality

The Arts Collaborative exists to tell the story of the many ways the arts in this area foster community engagement, increase community pride, and spur creativity among people of all ages. Through theatre, music, and the visual arts, the organizations of the Arts Collaborative offer programs and events for audiences of all cultural backgrounds and interests. You can perform or make art as amateurs or witness the performances or products of experienced professionals.

You can also participate as volunteers for arts organizations, ushering or taking tickets at shows, serving on boards and committees, and supporting fundraising activities.

The Collaborative believes that the arts help attract visitors, retain our workforce, and generate a strong economic impact to support community infrastructure and quality of life.

We sponsor this website as a service to visitors and residents to explore each of the organizations in the Arts Collaborative and in that way to embrace the joys of life in the Alexandria Lakes Area.
