Alexandria Public Schools

The Performing Arts Center (PAC) at Alexandria Area High School seats 1,013 people. Built in 2014, this magnificent space is a long awaited dream for our community. The center comfortably accommodates the needs of choir, instrumental and theater performances for the school, and provides the community with a location to hold various performing arts and other events for all ages. The facility was designed and built with state-of-the-art equipment, lighting, acoustics, hearing loop system, and wheelchair accessible seating – all with optimal audience comfort in mind.

The Performing Arts Center is host to student vocal, instrumental and theatre performances throughout the school year. Fan favorites include the fall musical (November) and Christmas Concert featuring the tradition of the Carolers (December). Trust us, you will be amazed at the level of talent! These performances are open to the public and we invite you to join us for a memorable experience.

Additionally, the Performing Arts Center hosts notable adult concerts – Lorie Line, Dueling Guitars, and the Minnesota Ballet are a few that have played in this premier space.

The Auditorium at the Discovery Middle School seats 300 people.  This facility is designed and available for smaller, more intimate productions and presentations.

We are grateful for such enriching facility spaces and encourage community groups, businesses and organizations to consider either facility as host to performances, keynote speakers, and special events throughout the year.
